The Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar met with his Russian counterpart about the Russian -Ukraine war, Gaza and the conditions of Syria and Lebanon.
Qatar’s Foreign Ministry announced that Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman al -Thani discussed international and regional developments during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Doha.
According to the Al -Jazeera Network, the two sides discussed the crisis of Russia and Ukraine and discussed the diplomatic dimensions of the dispute.
Also, the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, including Qatar’s mediating efforts to reduce tension, was another axis of the meeting.
During the meeting, the situation of Syria and Lebanon also raised the need for international cooperation to consolidate the conditions of these countries.
Lavrov had previously met with Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad al -Thani.
