Review of the US Constitution for the third round of Trump’s presidency
US Congress Andy Ogles has proposed rewriting and amending the 22nd US Constitution, allowing current President Donald Trump to be nominated for the third term of the election.
“Andy Ogles, a member of Congress, provided a joint resolution in the House of Representatives to amend the US Constitution to allow the president to be elected up to three periods,” ISNA reported.
However, he said in his proposal that if a person had been a president for two consecutive periods, he would be banned from the third round.
“I suggest a constitutional amendment to revise the restrictions imposed by amendment to the twenty -second presidential period,” Ogles said. This amendment allows President Trump to serve three periods and ensure that we can maintain the bold leadership that our nation desperately needs.
According to the 22nd US Constitution, each person can only be president of only two periods, whether continuous or interconnected.
