According to the Mehr news agency, “CBS” channel, quoting Robert Luna, the sheriff of the city of Los Angeles, announced that more than 9,200 acres of land in this area were burned in the wake of the progress of the new massive fire. 31,000 people received evacuation orders and 23,000 others received evacuation warnings.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department announced that an investigation into the cause of this new fire has begun.
Since January 7, massive fires have started in the city of Los Angeles, according to the American authorities, at least 27 people have lost their lives and tens of thousands of residents of the area have been forced to flee.
According to the American Weather Forecasting Organization, the damage and economic losses of these fires have reached 250 to 275 billion dollars so far.
