According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Shahab News, the media office of the Gaza government issued a statement announcing the increase in the number of martyrs of Gaza journalists.

The media office of the Gaza government stated: After the announcement of the martyrdom of our journalist colleague Iman Hatem al-Shanti, the number of journalist martyrs since the beginning of the war and genocide against the Gaza Strip has increased to 193 journalists. This martyr was working as an announcer and reporter for Soot al-Aqsa radio, and the Israeli occupying army killed her by destroying her residential apartment in Sheikh Rezwan neighborhood in Gaza City.

The statement continues: We condemn in the strongest terms the targeting, killing and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the Israeli occupation forces, and we call on all countries of the world to condemn these planned crimes against Palestinian journalists and journalists in the Gaza Strip.

The media office of the Gaza government emphasized: We hold full responsibility for such brutal and heinous crimes on the hands of the Israeli occupation, the American government, and countries participating in the crime of collective genocide, such as England, Germany, and France.

In the continuation of this statement, it is stated: We ask the international community, international organizations and organizations related to journalism and correspondents in all countries of the world to condemn the crimes of the occupiers, to act as a deterrent against them, to prosecute them in international courts due to their continuous crimes.
