German armed forces have prepared a secret plan for war with Russia
According to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, the German armed forces have prepared a secret plan in case of a military conflict with Russia.
According to a report by Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper, the 1,000-page “Operation Germany” plan lists all infrastructure facilities that deserve special protection and also includes a procedure for defense or “deterrence measures against Russia on NATO’s eastern flank.”
According to the TASS News agency, the plan says that in such a case, Germany would become “a concentration point for tens of thousands and possibly hundreds of thousands of troops” as well as military equipment, food and medical supplies, which would be moved east.
German military officials have repeatedly said this year that they must prepare for a military conflict with Russia that they say could happen within the next five years.
“Boris Pistorius”, the Minister of Defense of Germany, has also expressed this issue several times.
In July, the Bild newspaper reported that the German armed forces had drawn up a secret plan outlining the order of military and civilian action should NATO forces be moved to the alliance’s eastern flank.
In the meantime, Maria Zakharova, spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that German Foreign Minister Analena Berbock’s statements in July that Russia is the biggest threat to Europe’s security are nothing but “nonsense”.
The spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry also expressed the hope that the politicians in Germany will finally realize the impasse and ineffectiveness of their anti-Russian statements and its danger for Germany.
