White House: Biden announces a new aid package in a call with Zelensky
White House spokeswoman Karin Jean-Pierre said that US President Joe Biden will have a phone call with his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskiy on Wednesday to announce a new aid package for Kyiv.
According to RCO News Agency, Pierre said: “Biden will have a short conversation with President Zelensky and will announce a new aid package in line with American efforts to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression.”
He also stated that Biden will visit Germany on Thursday.
In this regard, Pierre said: “President Biden will travel to Berlin to meet with German leaders, including President Steinmeier and Chancellor Schultz.”
