Netanyahu’s green light to reduce airstrikes against Lebanon – Mehr News Agency | RCO News Agency
According to the Mehr news agency, citing the website of Russia Elium, Zionist Channel 12 reported that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, has ordered the army to reduce airstrikes on Lebanon.
This decision was taken while negotiations for a temporary ceasefire are underway.
A source in Netanyahu’s office told this channel that “the prime minister has given the green light to stop the war in order to enable negotiations with Hezbollah to achieve a permanent ceasefire.”
On the other hand, the “If You Want” movement, which is one of the right-wing Zionist extremists, reacted to this report and said: “Whoever cannot establish peace in Lebanon should immediately go to the elections!”
This Jenesh further added: “No prime minister has the moral right to stop the war against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Unfortunately, if Hezbollah is allowed to rearm, it will be a disaster for generations to come; “We must continue to hit Hezbollah.”
Negotiations for a 21-day ceasefire between the Zionist regime and Lebanon’s Hezbollah have begun after the escalation of conflicts in southern Lebanon and the widespread attacks of this regime’s army on the residential areas and infrastructure of this country.
The Israeli army has launched its most intense and extensive attack on Lebanon since last Monday. These attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of more than 600 people, including women and children, and the wounding of more than 2,500 people. According to official statistics, it is estimated that nearly 400,000 people have migrated from the affected areas.
The temporary ceasefire proposed with the support of the US and France seeks to create a space for diplomatic talks and reduce violence.
