According to Mehr news agency, citing Shahab news agency, at the same time as the strikes spread in the occupied lands in Haifa port, the workers of this port also joined the strikers.

The New York Times reported that Haifa port workers have joined a nationwide strike and the delivery and unloading of ships will not be done until this evening.

On the other hand, the Union of Workers in the Occupied Lands announced: We are considering whether the strikes will continue until tomorrow and include more sectors.

This is while a nationwide strike has started in the occupied territories.

The general strike in the occupied Palestinian territories is to declare solidarity with the families of Zionist prisoners in the Hamas resistance in Gaza and to declare opposition to the obstructions of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the occupation of Jerusalem on the way to reaching a prisoner exchange agreement.

The said strike includes schools, universities, Ben-Gurion airport, transport sector and economic sectors.

According to Al Jazeera, Yair Lapid, the leader of the opposition of the Zionist regime, also emphasized in this connection that Netanyahu prevented the achievement of a ceasefire agreement in order to save his cabinet from the danger of falling.

Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv has also joined the strikes.

The largest labor union in the occupied Palestinian territories is behind this strike, which is considered a threat to the entire economy of the occupied Jerusalem.
