Poland: We are one step away from war – Mehr News agency RCO News Agency
According to RCO News Agency, citing Rashatoudi, Poland’s Deputy Minister of Defense Cezary Tomczyk said during a speech at a high-level forum about the country’s security situation, that his country has just entered a situation that is only one level lower than the real battle.
He said: What we are facing today in Poland is an unofficial combined war, and we can clearly say that Poland is in a state of war today.
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland also mentioned the conditions of this country in the border area with Belarus, as well as the incidents related to the balloon’s entry into the Polish airspace. For years, Warsaw has accused Minsk of trying to put pressure on Poland by transferring illegal immigrants to this country, which Belarus has denied.
Warsaw authorities have accused Moscow of sending balloons into Polish airspace in recent months. In one recent incident in late June, Poland reported that its Russian counterparts had informed them that one of Moscow’s balloons had lost control over Kaliningrad and had entered Polish airspace.
The balloon was hovering in Polish airspace for four and a half hours, and the country’s authorities claimed that they did not shoot it down in order to avoid possible negative consequences. The Deputy Minister of Defense of Poland also claimed that Russia’s goal is to promote the idea of not trusting the government in the Polish society.
