According to RCO News Agency, quoted by Sputnik, Yoshimasa Hayashi, the spokesperson of the Japanese government, announced that Japan considers the penetration of a Chinese military aircraft into its airspace as a “serious violation of sovereignty”.

In this regard, he told reporters: Violation of our airspace by a Chinese military aircraft not only seriously violates our sovereignty, but is also considered a threat to our security, which is completely unacceptable.

Yoshimasa also added: “We believe this is the first confirmed and declared case of a Chinese military aircraft entering our airspace since we began our measures to counter such an intrusion.”

The spokesperson of the Japanese government further said: We refuse to give a clear answer about the purpose of this action by Chinese planes, but the recent military activities of China near the borders of Japan are expanding and becoming more active.
