Changes in the cultural heritage of Qazvin; The departure of the famous manager and the arrival of the first female general manager

According to a decree by Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, and in the presence of Ali Darabi, Acting Minister and Deputy Minister of Cultural Heritage of the country, and a group of ministry managers, while acknowledging the valuable efforts of Hojjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimin Hosseini, Maryam Mahdavi was appointed as the head of Qazvin Province General Administration and the first female provincial director-general of this ministry.

Ali Darabi, on Wednesday, November 14, 1404, in this ceremony, while thanking Mrs. Mahdavi for accepting the responsibility, said:

Managers are tested in ups and downs, and this appointment shows the merit and prominent role of women in the cultural management of the country, and as the first female provincial director general, she is under the full support of the ministry, and I wish her success in her new responsibility and the critical path ahead. Managers are tested in ups and downs and what is important is to maintain the unity and cohesion of the group and empathy and continuity in the development of the province. It is expected that all managers and colleagues of the collection will cooperate and interact with the new supervisor in a competent and effective manner so that the plans and goals of the general administration can be followed with greater coordination and coherence.

Pointing out that priority projects of the province should be put on the agenda and implemented, the deputy minister stated:

The global registration of Alamut castles and two historical mosques of Qazvin (Atiq Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque) in the file of Iranian mosques is one of the most important projects in the field of cultural heritage and tourism in Qazvin province. Considering the high expectations of Qazvin province from the high authority of the Ministry due to the presence of numerous historical, cultural and tourism capacities as well as its proximity to the center, we hope that with the efforts, empathy and careful planning of the complex, this province can become a successful model in the implementation of national programs in the fields of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts.

The vice president of the country’s cultural heritage listed management of virtual space and media and timely response to the questions and demands of the media, as well as planning for future actions, including tourism and handicraft exhibitions in Tehran and the implementation of Nowruzgah ceremonies, as other priorities of the province.

Maryam Mahdavi, the new head of the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Qazvin province, also described the staff of the complex as very hardworking and caring forces and said:

The close familiarity with the capabilities of the employees during the years of activity in this complex has provided a valuable basis for the accurate implementation of programs and the realization of the goals of the General Administration, and I hope that with the support of the Ministry and the effective cooperation of colleagues, the path of growth and excellence of the General Administration of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of the province will continue with greater strength.

In this meeting, the advisor to the minister and the head of security, the director general of provincial affairs and the director general of human resources development of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts were present.
