In a world where the line between personal cars and military equipment is blurring day by day, Tesla’s futuristic electric pickup truck, the Cybertruck, can now become an apocalyptic moving fortress. The two American companies have collaborated to introduce an upgrade kit called the Sting that prepares the car for the harshest conditions, from remote deserts to war zones. The most important feature of this kit is a powerful generator with the ability to use jet fuel, which completely eliminates the worries about charging the car in remote areas. (Yanko Design)

The Sting’s adventure kit includes a 125kW single-piston generator that mounts to the front of the car and can run on diesel, biodiesel and even jet fuel. This means that the Cybertruck equipped with a Sting Kit can fully charge itself anytime and anywhere. A collaboration between Archimedes Defense, a supplier of advanced generators to US organizations, and Unplugged Performance, a custom parts specialist, has created a unique product for wealthy adventurers and even military organizations.

Three versions for three levels of adventure
The Sting Kit comes in three different versions, each designed for a different level of adventure and menace:
- “Sting Baja” (Sting Baja): The basic version is designed for heavy off-road enthusiasts. This model includes an off-road package, a lightweight 800 volt generator and Tesla Starlink satellite internet connection.
- “Sting Protector” (Sting Protector): A version for medium threat environments that adds a layer of steel reinforcement to the hull. This armor is able to withstand 7.62 mm caliber assault rifle bullets. This model can be ordered with or without a generator.
- “Sting APC” (Sting APC): It is the most powerful version that turns the Cybertruck into a real armored personnel carrier. With external steel and ceramic plates, this version is resistant to 14.5 mm machine gun bullets, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and mines.

All versions share common features such as large off-road tires, tall rear antennas, fog lamps and reinforced doors with smaller windows for increased safety.
Price and delivery time
According to published information, pre-purchase of this kit is possible by paying 500 dollars, and its base price is estimated at 40 thousand dollars. The Baha version is expected to be released a little earlier and the final APC version in late 2025. With this kit, the Cybertruck is no longer just an electric van; Rather, it is a reliable companion to cross any path, even at the end of the world.
