The idea of traveling on open roads, exploring unknown routes and watching pristine nature is an attractive dream for many of us. With the aim of redefining this experience, the Icelandic company “Mink Campers” has introduced its newest product called “MINK-E”; An all-electric trailer with a teardrop design that combines comfort and environmental sustainability (Yanko Design).

The small mink trailer with a length of 4.1 meters and a weight of only 510 kg is considered the lightest product of the company. The mink body is made of ABS plastic and a resistant shell with three-centimeter walls, which has high durability and effective thermal insulation. Its aerodynamic design also reduces wind resistance and is a suitable option for electric vehicles on long journeys.

Unlike traditional caravans that use fossil fuels, Minkei runs entirely on electricity. It is equipped with a charging port for electric vehicles and an internal battery, and it also uses a solar charging system to provide the possibility of traveling to remote areas without worrying about energy.

Recyclable materials have been used in the construction of mink trailer and about 25% of its components are recyclable. In this way, Minkee has created a balance between sustainable design and off-road life and has set a new standard in the electric trailer industry.
In the mink interior, round doors and windows along with a large skylight give a direct view of nature. The small kitchen behind the trailer includes a 36-liter refrigerator and an induction stove that allows cooking in the heart of nature.
The cabin has a large double mattress for a caravan and it is possible to install a baby bed or an additional shelf. Priced at around $30,800, this trailer is now available in the UK, Iceland and several other European countries. For those who are looking for adventure travel with a sustainable approach, Minkay is a unique opportunity to experience freedom and peace in the heart of nature.
