Flames in the famous Qeshm Passage; Extensive firefighting of the Atlantic

According to ISNA, the fire of this commercial complex has begun on Sunday, October 9, in the city of Qeshm Island, an hour ago. According to preliminary reports, the fire source was in the lower floor warehouses.

The smoke from this fire has swept a large part of the market, and the fire forces are trying to contain the flames. The intensity of the fire is such that it is likely to be transmitted to adjacent business units.

Farzad Dehghani, deputy political and security deputy of Qeshm Governorate, told ISNA:

Firefighting, Red Crescent and law enforcement officers have been dispatched to the scene of the accident and the cause of the accident is on the agenda.

According to him, due to the extent of the fire and the high volume of flammable goods in the warehouses, the Bandar Abbas firefighters have also been dispatched to the site with heavy support vehicles, water supply tankers and special respiratory equipment from the provincial capital to carry out more speed and safety.

Najmuddin Fereidouni, the head of the Qeshm Free Zone Fire Department, announced the containment of more than 5 % fire in the Atlas Dargan market, saying:

The stain operation is underway to completely control the fire. So far, more than 2 % of the fire has been inhibited and the forces are in the staining stage. Due to the high volume of goods per unit, fire control and control operations are being carried out on a case -by -case basis.

According to him, most of the warehouses of the complex include fast -paced goods including shoes, clothing and luggage, and the presence of wooden materials in the rear of the shops increased the speed of fire spread.

Atlas Business Complex is one of the largest shopping malls in the city of Dargan, whose large warehouses are the place of maintenance of a significant volume of mainly clothing and shoes.
