According to ISNA, the Golestan Palace opens in a gradual and gradual way from October. The World Heritage Site has been closed since the start of the 6 -day war (June 6th) to protect it.

Afrin Emami, director of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Collection, explained the process of reopening the collection:

In the first stage, mansions that lack museum objects or have the possibility of faster layout will be reopened, including marble, windmills, Shams al -Amara, Karimkhani and Golestan Garden. The exhibition of selected carpets of the Golestan Palace will also be exhibited on the first floor of Shams al -Amara.

He added.

Museums that have objects will be reopened with a little delay and will be reopened after the second phase, which will gradually visit the Museum of Anthropology and Diamond Mansion (Amir Kabir Hall), the Museum of the Dawn (Foreign Relations Hall), the Qajar Museum).

The director of the Golestan World Heritage Collection said that the temporary closure of museums created an opportunity for the implementation of restaurant and conservation projects.

During this period, extensive measures have been taken in preventive, safety and security protection, including the development and completion of video surveillance systems, upgrading tanks, staining buildings and restoration of architectural decorations in some halls such as the Museum of containers and gallery, as well as repairing floor parquet.

She said.

A number of historical -historical movable property that needed restoration were transferred to the restoration workshop and some of them were repaired, so some spaces are delayed to complete these projects. Any museum that is ready to reopen will immediately reopen and operate with public information.
