Keshavarz Boulevard is still a symbol of the capital’s urban history and identity and is one of the first modern Tehran boulevards to be built in the 1980s.
In a historical image of Tehran, the importance of Keshavarz Boulevard is clear. The western -eastern route, along with streets such as Valiasr and Karim Khan and south to Enghelab Street, holds important centers such as Laleh Park, University of Tehran, Museum of Contemporary Art and Imam Khomeini Hospital in Tehran.
