Mohammad Sabet Eqlidi said in a statement:
In a cave in the Khawaja Mountain, a landfill was carried out, a tombstone, and in recent days a Sassanid tomb inscription has been discovered at the entrance of the cave.
He stated that the inscription was written in Sassanid Pahlavi, dating back to the late Sassanid period and between 5 and 5 years ago.
Sabet Eqlidi, stating that the inscription was read by experts of cultural heritage, said:
The inscription has been approved by the head of the Persepolis Center. This is the first time we have discovered such a historical inscription in Abadeh. Of course we have one of the Sassanid masterpieces in Abadeh Castle, but this inscription reflects the historical age of Abadeh.
Sabet Eqlidi, referring to the location of the inscription, said:
The inscription identifies the Khawaja Mountain as the burial place of the dead, and translations on the inscriptions are reminiscent of the ancient burial of our ancestors during the Zoroastrian and Sassanid era at Khawaja Mountain as a place for the burial of ancient Iranians.
She recalled:
The inscription was discovered by Arash Nimranian, one of Yazdi’s ancient history of ancient Iran, and has been informed by Abadeh Cultural Heritage, which has been identified as a thousand and 6 -year work in Abadeh after reviewing the cultural heritage experts and has taken conservation measures to preserve this work.
