The Iranian booth was inaugurated this morning at the Dubai World Trade Center (Dubai World Trade Centre) with the participation of seven active travel and tourism companies, with the support and coordination of the Tourism and Automotive Center.
The booth is set up in an area of 2 square meters in the Asian Hall adjacent to the booths of Oman, Iraq and Abu Dhabi.
Iran’s representatives at this global event, within four days, introduce the numerous and varied capacities of tourism, historical, cultural, natural and rich Iranian culture and civilization.
During the display, one of the Iranian carpet weaving artists sets live in an Iranian carpet booth and creates this work of art. There are also Iranian souvenirs, including food and sweets and some artistic artworks of the country’s craftsmen.
The first Arabian Travel Market (ATM) exhibition, first held in year 6, is the largest tourism event in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and is an important platform for introducing new products and services, networking and exchange of ideas in the tourism industry.
The ATM 2025 Exhibition with the slogan “World Travel: Tomorrow’s Tourism Development through Advanced Connection” was opened this year with more than 5 countries and more than 2,000 booths, focusing on new technologies, sustainable tourism and the role of artificial intelligence in travel.
The event covers a wide range of tourism sectors, including airlines, transport companies, travel agencies, hotels, tourist attractions and new technologies, and has established its place as one of the most comprehensive world exhibitions by presenting new programs and dedicated meetings for professionals.
Iran’s presence in this exhibition provides an opportunity to introduce the country’s tourism capacities, develop international interactions, and marketing Iranian destinations at regional and global level. This strategic return reflects Iran’s determination to take advantage of new technologies and sustainable approaches to the development of the tourism industry.
