San Francisco, a city known for its spectacular streets and colorful houses, is portrayed in the new collection of Helene Havard, a French -based photographer. Howard traveled to the “City of the Gulf” to capture these images, and walking the streets, showing the magic of the city in pastel and nostalgic mood.
Unlike San Francisco’s constant face, Howard has made it a quiet, foggy and dreamy world using special techniques and images; Where the streets are silent, the houses are fading in the fog and everything is colorful.
Howard, who had previously used techniques such as human removal and the addition of delicate textures in his work, again shows his unique look. Using pastel colors, soft lines and minimalist composition, he succeeds in making a new and poetic face of a city that is defined in many minds with crowded, technology and sound. (mymodernmet)
These images look more like frames of a quiet science-fiction film in a parallel world. San Francesku, which Howard draws, is a place to dream, walk in silence and find peace in the heart of architecture and fog. He says about this photography project:
I walk into the streets accidentally and allow my inspiration to flow. I am more interested in form and colors.
