Takht Jamshid, as one of the most visited historical sites in Iran during Nowruz, welcomes thousands of domestic and foreign tourists every year. However, many cultural heritage experts warn that the lack of sufficient supervision and lack of protection facilities can lead to the repetition of destructive behaviors and irreparable damage to this monument.
The serious increase in the number of Nowruz visitors in sites, monuments and even museums has been one of the hot discussions of Nowruz for years. Many experts have repeatedly emphasized that the lack of a capacity ceiling to visit a busy monument in crowded days has not only damaged a lot of damage, which does not even lead to a good experience for visitors.
However, providing multi -thousand -person statistics to visit sites and museums is one of the achievements of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage managers in Nowruz, and the process will be repeated soon.
Although the need to strengthen Persepolis’ protection has been repeatedly emphasized, there is still no effective mechanism for the management of Nowruz visits. The addition of protective forces, utilizing monitoring technologies, and applying more strict rules can prevent such violations from repeating.
Along with conservation measures, there should be a change in the eyes of visitors; Visiting a historic site is not only an opportunity for memento photography, but also an exposure to the memory of a land.
