Jagokudani Yaen-Koen National Park is one of the most beautiful and unique natural habitats for snow monkeys (Japanese Maccak). The park is located in Nagano province and is known for its natural hot springs located in the heart of snowy valleys. In the winter, monkeys in the area bathe to warm up these hot springs, displaying a spectacular and symbolic view of Japanese wildlife.
In the Monkey Monkey Park, fertilizers allow tourists to observe these monkeys from a close distance. Jago means “Hell Valley” and this is due to hot vapors and natural waterfalls. This place is not only a popular tourist attraction, but also plays an important role in protecting such animal and studying their behavior in their natural habitat.
