Costa Rica; The world in which nature rules!

Costa Rica, one of the main destinations of nature tourism, has a great wildlife diversity that has made it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. The country, which covers only 1.5 % of the Earth’s surface, hosts about five percent of the world’s animal and plant species. Rained forests, beaches, volcanoes and Costa Rica plains are a variety of habitats for all kinds of creatures; Including colorful monkeys, snakes and birds such as parrots and peacocks. National parks and numerous environmental reserves, such as Manuel Antonio National Park, are among the prominent places that showcase Costa Rica wildlife.

In addition to the dry animals, Costa Rica is the habitat of many marine organisms as well; From sea turtles to sharks and dolphins. It is trying to continue sustainable development along with preserving biodiversity by maintaining and managing protected areas. In particular, marine turtles and migratory birds are expanding, making Costa Rica one of the pioneers of environmental protection in the world.
