Naqsh Jahan Square had a special shape in the Qajar period.
The royal album library of Golestan Palace is full of rarely seen photos of the city of Isfahan. In one of the albums of this album store, a photographer whose name is not mentioned has recorded many pictures of the grounds and buildings of Isfahan city.
In one of these photos, the historical and valuable building of Ali Qapu can be seen in the window of Naqsh Jahan square. The interesting point of this photo is the presence of a ball and a crack in the photographer’s frame.
Naqsh Jahan Square in Isfahan, as one of the most valuable historical sites in Iran, was registered in the UNESCO World Heritage List years ago.
