Foreign tourists have shared their views and experiences on Google after visiting Takht Suleiman World Complex.
The ancient complex of Takht Suleiman is one of Iran’s registered works in the UNESCO World Heritage List. This work, which is located in Takab city, located in West Azerbaijan, dates back to the Parthian era. This amazing collection annually hosts tourists who are interested in exploring the history and culture of this region. Many foreign tourists have shared their opinions and experiences on Google Maps after visiting Takht Suleiman World Complex, some of which are mentioned below.
1. Armen Barkhordarian from Armenia
It is a very unique place to visit; However, you have to drive quite a distance to get there. Don’t rely on route planners for driving times and allow at least three hours from Zanjan in normal weather conditions. The road was scenic and fun to drive (during the day). Most of the road is of good quality; But it’s better to go there with full bucks. You cannot find any special facilities there and it is better to go there in spring or summer; Because in winter you can hardly reach there!
2. Dennis from Portugal
Great place and a little mysterious! I heard different things about that place; But the main point is that it is considered the birthplace of Zoroaster. Everyone should visit it.
3. Sebastian Laffaye from Belgium
This is a castle declared by UNESCO as a world heritage; A place that surrounds the crater of an extinct volcano. This place was sacred for Zoroastrians and the remains of a fire temple confirm this. This is a land that was disputed for centuries and was eventually conquered by the Arabs and then by the Mongols. The arrangement of the remains of the walls shows the stages of history.
4. Jakobus Geymüller from Germany
It is a very special place with a great atmosphere. The crater lake in the center of the fortress is like a miracle. Having a well on top of a hill has been attractive for thousands of years. Unfortunately, the remains of the fire temple are very dilapidated and no trace of the various stages of reconstruction and restoration can be seen. Do not miss climbing the hill south of the parking lot to have a beautiful view of the whole area. Additionally, I recommend climbing the volcanic peak near Solomon’s Prison.
5. İrfan Yavaşca from Türkiye
It is an amazing historical place. When we arrived in our vehicle, we camped at midnight; Because the height is about 2,200 meters. We loved our Azari brothers very much. People are very helpful. I feel like I am in Türkiye.
6. Sean Ho from China
Come here in early spring to enjoy the snowy scenery. It is a simple but stunning attraction.
