The entrance of Golestan Palace's government support is opened in Nowruz.
The director of the world heritage complex of Golestan Palace announced the reopening of the entrance of Tekeh Dolat in Nowruz 1403 for tourists and visitors of this world complex.
Afrin Emami announced this news and said:
One of the most visited places by tourists during Nowruz holidays is Golestan Palace, which is why the preparation of this world heritage complex is underway to provide a suitable environment worthy of tourists.
The director of Golestan Palace's World Heritage Complex stated regarding the preparation measures to welcome Nowruz tourists in this world complex:
The first and most important step is the opening of the third entrance of this world complex called the entrance of the government, which is the first time since the construction of this historical building, it will be opened to the common people, because in the past this door was not for the use of the general public.
He said about the entrance doors of Golestan Palace in past historical periods:
Golestan Palace had many entrances during the Qajar period, which were destroyed over time, especially during the Pahlavi period, and today there is no sign of them except for pictures. Only in the history of the world heritage complex of the Golestan Palace, which has remained from the Qajar period until now, it is in excellent condition that it is being used, and this door was reopened to the public in 1400 after 80 years, so now the visitors of actually in the 15th square Khordad (Citadel) and Bab Aali enter this world heritage complex and in Nowruz 1403, it will be possible for people to have the experience of entering the Golestan Palace through the door known as Tekei Dolat.
Director of Golestan Palace World Heritage Collection said:
At the entrance of Tekeh Dolat, it creates an effective connection between Golestan Palace and Sabz Maidan and the entrance of the market, and the shortest distance between Golestan Palace and the market, which will provide thousands of visitors daily. Also, facilitating the entry of visitors and preventing the gathering to enter the Golestan Palace will also be provided during Nowruz, which is one of the busiest and most visited days throughout the year. The world heritage complex of Golestan Palace has more than 10 to 14 thousand entrances and visitors every day during Nowruz, and it is natural that due to the restrictions on the entrances, long queues will be formed, which by using the door of the government, at the time and time of visiting and entering the palace Golestan will be facilitated as much as possible and the entry and exit of visitors will be done more quickly.
Emami added:
The entrance to Tekeh Dolat is adjacent to an area with an area of 1,800 square meters, which will be used to hold Nowruzgah in this valuable area by reopening Tekeh Dolat.
The director of the Golestan Palace World Heritage Collection said about the reduction of the entrance time from the 15 Khordad square (Arg) to the Golestan Palace:
Due to the synchronicity of the month of Ramadan with Nowruz days and the holding of religious ceremonies at the Arg Mosque in Tehran, which is adjacent to the Golestan Palace, it is possible to close the entrance of the Golestan Palace from 15 Khordad square 2 hours earlier, and by installing information boards, visitors are tried to enter from 2. It is done in the state's high affairs and support.
Pointing out that the operation of Dar Kuche Daulat is in the first phase and they have tried to use prefabricated structures on a trial basis, he said:
We are preparing a content plan for this area and the entrance door of Tekeh Dolat, so that it can be restored and permanently used for visitors. In this plan, reception area, prayer room, suitable space for street theater and night tourism of Golestan Palace will be provided, which will lead to visit Badgir mansion and visitors will benefit from cultural and artistic programs in this area at night. At present, night tourism programs are not implemented permanently in the country and it is not possible to visit the museum and the palace of museums at night, but if this plan is implemented, it will be possible for the first time to visit Golestan Palace at night and night tourism.
