Electronic Arts (Electronic Arts) has announced that the game The Sims Mobile (The Sims Mobile) will be closed forever early next year.
According to the company’s official statement, this game has been removed from the App Store and Google Play Store since October 21 (October 29), and its servers will be shut down forever on January 20, 2026 (December 30, 1404). Although the game will continue to receive updates until January, it will no longer be accessible once the servers are shut down.
Despite the shutdown, Electronic Arts plans to release new seasonal content in the final days, including the Eerie Autumn Festival and Cozier Home Sweet Treat Showdown events that are currently live in the game. The company has also confirmed that any unspent premium currency will be lost and no refunds will be made once the servers are shut down.

However, Electronic Arts has given players a farewell gift. In fact, from January 6th (16th of January), all the items in the Build Mode and Create-A-Sim or CAS will be automatically opened for everyone, so that users can freely build their dream houses and Sims until the last day. Electronic Arts said about this:
We want all players to have the opportunity to design their dream home, build their favorite sims, and experience all of the game’s content before the servers are shut down forever.
It should be noted that this game should not be confused with The Sims FreePlay. The Sims Mobile was released in March 2018 and focuses on building and controlling a single household, while The Sims FreePlay allows players to manage several different households. Electronic Arts has not announced any plans to stop The Sims FreePlay at this time, so fans of The Sims world on mobile can still continue their creativity in that game.
