Slack is experimenting with an upgraded version of Slackbot That is to make it up to a Artificial Intelligence Assistant Converts.
Slackbot is reportedly now playing more of a tool for reminding and submitting notifications, but this update can design dedicated programs tailored to your workspace, review messages, collect information from different channels, and provide more advanced functions.
Slackbot conversion to artificial intelligence assistant
Rob Simen, chief executive of Slack’s product at Salesforce, says:
“Slackbot has a relatively elementary performance, but we have rebuilt it to become a personal assistant for artificial intelligence for users.”
In the trial version, Slackbot will appear as an icon next to the search bar above the workspace. By clicking on it, the panel resembles a directory message to the right side of the page, which can be like “What are my priorities?” Or enter “Find the Last Project Updates”. The new Slackbot uses your conversations, files and workspace to provide personalized assistance.
In a demo, Slack showed that the new Slackbot can automatically perform complex and multi -step tasks, including combining different channel information to plan a product, and managing the design and implementation of media campaigns by maintaining brand identity and tone.
One of the most attractive features is the ability to search in the workspace with dialogue language. That is, if you are looking for a document but don’t remember the exact keyword, you can ask Slackbot: “Find the document Jay shared at the last session.” Slackbot can also coordinate and schedule sessions with Microsoft Outlook and Google Calendar.
These features are added to other Slack artificial intelligence capabilities, which previously included summarizing conversations and channels and defining corporate specialized terms. Simen says about the future of these facilities:
“We constantly add these small tools to the most commonly used sectors so that users can do their job faster and easier.”
The current Slackbot capabilities, such as automatic messages and custom functions, will still be available.
Companies are able to use artificial intelligence -equipped Slackbot, but real users in the workplace cannot disable these features. The service is fully implemented in Amazon Web Services cloudy, so that no data is out of the safe environment and is not used to teach artificial intelligence models.
The upgraded version of Slackbot is currently available for 70,000 Salesforce employees and Slack is testing it with other customers. The company plans to provide this feature to all users by the end of the year.
