The CEO of Anthropic AI says 5 % is likely to develop artificial intelligence in a disaster. Of course, he still believes that investment should continue.
“I think it’s 2 % likely to go well,” said Dario Amoudi, CEO of Antropic, who attended the Axios AI + DC Summit meeting. Also, when he was asked about the possibility of human destruction by artificial intelligence, he replied that he was more focused on the 5 % probability that things were really doing well.
Anthropic CEO is still optimistic about artificial intelligence
Amoudi means that artificial intelligence issues are big scenarios that may threaten social systems, including existential risks, severe abuse of artificial intelligence, and out -of -control consequences that can bring catastrophic results.
This is, of course, not just Amudi’s warning about artificial intelligence. He had previously warned that artificial intelligence could destroy half of the basic jobs of the employee, as well as warned about exporting US chips to China. A new study by anthropic artificial intelligence startup shows that many customers who use artificial intelligence models have come to replace their workplace with artificial intelligence.
On the other hand, the probability of a 5 percent chance to go well, from the viewpoint of the anthropic CEO, is not just optimistic. This view indicates that artificial intelligence can bring important benefits to all, including medical improvement, more efficient production, and even providing strategies to deal with serious crises such as climate change.
However, the risk of a 5 % risk requires that developing artificial intelligence models to be careful in developing these technologies.
