Google is apparently upgrading one of its most fascinating tools, Notebooklm. After the success of podcasting with Audio Overviews, which also supports Farsi, it is time to produce video production and may soon be able to make artificial intelligence videos from notes.
According to the XDA report, Google is developing a feature called Video Overviews for the Notebooklm Artificial Intelligence Service. This feature is partly similar to the Audio Overviews feature; A feature that uses user notes, double voice podcasts and has been one of the main reasons for the popularity of Notebooklm.
Audio Overviews has been able to create a real experience for users by making podcasts with natural sound and maintaining human pauses and beats. Now the image is on the way. Based on the information revealed in the X network, a new button called the Video Overview is seen in the Studio panel, indicating that this feature is being tested and may be introduced soon. The Google I/O 2025 event can be a good place to introduce this feature.
It is estimated that this feature works with the VEO 2 artificial intelligence model, which Google says is capable of making high -quality videos, realism in moving and understanding real -world physics. This model can make multi -minute clips. It is not clear that Video Overview will replace the audio feature or add a new visual experience alongside it.
Also in the leaked image, the studio panel is redesigned and contains 2 options:
- Audio Overview
- Video overview
- Mind map
- Reports

Previously, this section only included Audio Overview and Notes (with tools like Study Guide and Timeline) that appear to have been merged into Reports. Another change is the addition of a section called Editor’s Picks, in which the selected notebooks are shared. This section can also make the Notebooklm a platform for knowledge sharing.
Google has just announced in its official X account for Google I/O 2025, and these new features are likely to be unveiled at the same official event. The mobile version of the Notebooklm is also expected to be released on May 30.
