The new Meta AI app with audio conversation, advanced customization and connection to Meta Smart Glasses offers an integrated artificial assistant experience.
Meta released the first version of the Meta AI independent app; The new artificial intelligence assistant developed based on the LLAMA 4 model and aims to provide a more personalized, more natural and socially experienced experience for users. The assistant, previously enabled in messengers such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Messenger, is now available as a dedicated app.
The Meta AI app is designed to make users better, pay attention to their conversation and personal preferences, and provide more accurate and relevant answers. The audio features of this app enable the user’s interaction while doing other tasks. Also, if the microphone is enabled, an icon for information will be displayed.

Personal assistant in the form of an app
The new version of the Meta AI is equipped with voice conversation capability. With the use of the LLAMA 4 model, the assistant’s responses are more natural, relevant, and personally personally. Other features of this app include the production and editing of the image through dialogue (text or audio).
In this version, there is also a demo of Full-Duplex. This feature, which is currently available only in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, provides a more fluent and more similar experience to human dialogue. Of course, this version still does not have access to the Internet or instantaneous information and has been published only for testing.
Accompanying mobile to desktop
The Meta AI app is now replaced by the previous Meta View app and managing Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Users can start a conversation with glasses and continue through the app or web version.
The Meta AI web version has also been updated and now provides users with features such as audio conversation, a discovery feed (to see different applications of artificial intelligence by other users), as well as advanced tools for producing and editing image.
The desktop version of this platform is specifically optimized for large displays, and in some countries an advanced editor is also being tested to produce text and video documents.
An experience that depends on you
Meta has announced that the new assistant can provide more personal answers based on the information that the user has shared in other products of the company (such as Facebook or Instagram). If you have connected your Facebook and Instagram accounts, the personalization accuracy will increase. This feature is currently active for US and Canadian users.
Finally, the new Meta app, with simple design and fast audio interaction, is trying to make artificial intelligence interaction into a daily and continuous experience. Full control of the settings, including activating or deactivating the default voice dialogue, is in the user’s hands.
