Dolingo, a language teaching platform, announced that it will gradually replace its contractors with artificial intelligence technologies in order to accelerate content production and eliminate duplicate tasks.
Dolingo’s CEO Lewis Phone Anne emphasized in an email that the decision is part of the strategy of turning the company into an artificial intelligence organization.
He said the purpose of these changes was not to completely replace employees, but to liberate human resources to focus on creative work and solve complex problems, promising to support employees through training and new artificial intelligence tools.
This approach involves stopping the use of contractors in the tasks that artificial intelligence can perform, redesigning work processes, and incorporating artificial intelligence skills in recruitment and performance evaluation.
Referring to his previous success in investing in mobile technology in year 2, Dolingo considers artificial intelligence the key to future growth.
