Arthur Mensch, CEO of French Mistral Artificial Intelligence (MISTRAL), said in a recent interview with Business Insider Dip -Sick’s success and a great moment for the open source ecosystem.
Mistral is one of the European artificial intelligence startups founded in France and is a European competitor Openai. This startup operates based on the open source approach. While some companies active in the artificial intelligence market are frightened by the stunning growth of Dipsic, Mistral CEO believes that Dipsic’s success will eventually lead to strengthening the Open Source ecosystem.
European rival Openai welcomed Dipsic’s success
The Mistral Startup started his career in Paris in year 2 and has been a sponsor of the open -ended approach since then. “We would like to call Deepsic Chinese Mistral,” said Arthur Manesh in a recent interview. “We think this is a great moment for open source models, and companies such as Mistral and Dipsic have participated in the development of this space and have benefited from each other.”
Many models developed by Mistral Startup are like Open-Weight; That is, instead of sharing the full cadbies, they share the model parameters.
The Mistral CEO is not the only technology industry manager who is happy with and welcomed the success of dipsic spectacular models. Previously, Jan Lacan, a senior scientist of Meta’s artificial intelligence, also described Dipsic’s success as a sign of the power of open -ended models. The CEO of OpenAI had also previously praised the success and performance of Deepsic.
In spite of Dipsic’s remarkable success, there are many margins about this Chinese startup. Although Deepsic claimed to have spent less than $ 5 million on developing his models, Google’s senior artificial intelligence officer said the figure was exaggerated. Dipsic has also been able to perform well in safety tests so far and has raised many concerns about user data security.
