Mark Zuckerberg, CEO meta, announced that this company plans to 60 until 65 billion dollars Pay for the creation of artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Last night, Zuckerberg announced this in a post on Twitter. Part of Meta’s plan, he says, includes a data center in Louisiana that Zagerberg says is “big enough to cover a significant portion of Manhattan.”
At the same time, the CEO of Meta has announced the company’s plans for the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure, and its competitors have also announced similar plans. Last week, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Softbank CEO Masayoshi Sun, and Oracle founder Larry Ellison unveiled a similar program called Stargate at a White House press conference attended by Donald Trump. $500 billion is being invested in building artificial intelligence data centers for OpenAI in various regions of the United States.
According to reports, the data center planned for Texas will be the size of New York’s Central Park.
Meta CEO Expectations from 2025
Also, Zuckerberg says in his post that he expects Meta to end this year with more than 1.3 million GPUs and to grow its artificial intelligence team significantly. He says:
“This year will be decisive for artificial intelligence. By 2025, I expect Meta AI to become the leading assistant (artificial intelligence) used by more than a billion people, Llama 4 to become the most advanced model, and we will build an AI engineer who will help us significantly in research and development. “
Meta is currently building a $10 billion artificial intelligence data center in Richland Parish, Louisiana, which is expected to continue construction until 2030. Apart from Meta, other companies such as OpenAI, Google, Microsoft and Nvidia are also spending billions of dollars to increase their AI efforts.
