You can now talk directly to the ChatGPT AI from your PC or Mac, thanks to a new advanced voice mode integration, OpenAI announced on Wednesday.
According to Digital Trends, the company announced on the social network X, on the occasion of the launch of this feature: “Big day for desktop computers”. Advanced Voice Mode (AVM) is implemented in the GPT-4o model and enables the user to speak to the chatbot without the need for text messages.
So you can easily talk to ChatGPT AI. OpenAI says the AVM feature “delivers natural, real-time conversations, allowing you to stop talking at any time, express your emotions, and the AI responds.”
Originally announced at the OpenAI Spring Update event, the long-awaited feature was released to beta testers in July and rolled out to premium subscribers in late September. “Free users will also get a glimpse of enhanced audio,” the company said in a post on Oct. X. “Plus and Free subscription users in the EU… We’ll keep you posted on the next news, we promise.”
Application of ChatGPT artificial intelligence advanced voice mode
Despite the relatively exclusive nature of the service, this feature has already caught the attention of users. When AVM finally became generally available to Plus subscribers, social media erupted with various posts talking about all the weird things the feature could do. From simulated breath pauses during long conversations to a wide variety of regional voices and accents. In fact, it became so popular that both Meta and Google quickly unveiled their own conversational features as well.
OpenAI created a great revolution in the field of artificial intelligence with the launch of ChatGPT artificial intelligence. So that many experts believe that ChatGPT is better than all artificial intelligence services that were released later, and better features are released for it day by day.
