In the new update of Pixel phones, Google has provided the Circle to Search artificial intelligence feature and the new generation of Call Screening feature. These features bring some interesting features to some Pixel phones.
According to 9TO5Google and Engadget, the Circle to Search feature has been rolled out to the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro phones during the March update that Google released for Pixel phones. In addition, Google has provided the new generation Call Screening feature for these devices.
How do Circle to Search and Call Screening features work on Pixel phones?
Starting today, some Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users will get access to the Circle to Search feature that was previously available for the Galaxy S24 series. In the coming weeks, the Circle to Search feature will be available to all users of both phones; Of course, to use these 2 features, users must update their device to the latest version of Google's operating system.
To use the Circle to Search feature, hold your finger along the navigation gesture. Those using 3-button navigation can also hold their finger on the home button. This feature is currently not available for Pixel Fold users.
About the Call Screening feature, after touching the Hello icon, the Google Assistant service will be activated to speak on behalf of the phone user. Then this assistant asks the caller the reason for the call and the answer is transferred to you; If the reason for the call is important to the user, he can personally answer the phone and talk to the contact.
Also, if the user cannot answer the contact quickly, there is an option in Call Screening that tells the caller to wait a bit. This feature is available for Pixel Fold and Pixel 6 phones and up.
