Samsung is finally ready to reveal more details of its hybrid reality headset called Project Mohhan. The company has announced a new Galaxy event called Worlds Wide Open, which is due to take place on October 1 at 9:30 pm ET (5:30 Iran time). Samsung has promised to provide complete details of the Mohan project at the event.
The headset, which will run on the Android XR operating system, is a new hybrid reality platform developed by Samsung, Google and Qualcomm. “This platform is designed to be expandable in various dimensions and place artificial intelligence at the center of all -round and everyday experience,” says Samsung. One of the experts of the Verj website was able to experience this Android XR headset and platform late in the year, and now almost a year later, Samsung seems to be ready to complete its hybrid reality headset.
Samsung said about this:
The Mohan project is the first revolutionary product made for the open and scalable Android XR platform and integrates the everyday applications with all -out and innovative experiences. This is where the actual XR potential flourishes and opens new dimensions of the features.
The announcement comes as Apple is apparently on the verge of launching a new version of the Vision Pro headset with a faster chip. The headset, which seems to be the new version of the Vision Pro, is also found in FCC documents. However, Apple seems to be gradually focusing on the headsets and intends to focus on developing a new type of products. The company has apparently stopped working on a lighter version of the Vision Pro to prioritize the development of smart glasses.
