Xiaomi continues to release the advanced Hyperos 3 update, but there has been a significant difference in the addition of Hyperisland’s new and advanced capabilities. This interactive and dynamic feature designed to improve the visual experience will be selectively available.
Xiaomi has decided that devices that are not in the higher or flagship category are generally deprived of Hyperisland. Since a significant portion of the popular Red Note series is included in this category, many users are investigating the compatibility conditions of their device with this feature. More advanced versions such as the Red Note 4 Pro 5G and the Red Note 5G 5G are likely to have this feature, but a large part of other models may not receive it.
Hardware -based justification to remove hyperisland capability
The decision to limit the Hyperisland distribution is directly related to the requirements of hardware performance. This feature requires high graphics processing capacity and adequate memory so that it can display live Blur effects and dynamic animations without damaging the overall performance of the device. Since implementation of this capability is heavily involved in system resources, its integration into phones with weaker chips or limited memory capacity may decrease performance and reduce stability. Xiaomi’s focus on maintaining a smooth, integrated and sustainable user experience remains throughout the set of devices, even if this goal requires selective capabilities.

Note Reddy Adaptation Assessment with Hyperisland
For users who have received Hyperos 3 updates but are not sure that the Hyperisland feature is activated, a simple method is intended to review the center control section. This method is based on the view of how the graphic rendering of the user interface:
- Activation verification: If the background is displayed with a vibrant and dynamic Blur effect when opening the center control, so that the elements with high visual accuracy and soft movements are faded, it can be said to support Hyperisland.
- Possibility of not support: Conversely, if the Blur background is displayed only as a fixed gray layer or a simple Fade-in / Fade-Out transmission and there is no live effect, the device is likely to have the graphics power needed to run the hyperisland.

This visual method provides an immediate solution in the Hyperos 3 environment to detect the device’s support for the Hyperisland feature.
