Oneplus handsets have been locking the Gemini shortcut on the screen for a while, a feature that Google and Samsung’s devices still have, as it was seen in the latest one.
Gemini mainly replaces Google Assistant on Android and there are several ways to access this feature. Most Android phones support the gesture, the long power of the power button, the word activation word, and other ways to access jams.

However, many of which are low is the shortcut on the lock screen. OnePlus has exactly the same feature, so one of the many options for its lock screen shortcut is “Google’s digital assistant” or jams.
This feature is highlighted on the OnePlus 13S, but it is not unique to the device. In fact, this feature is also available on other devices such as the OnePlus 13 and seems to have been available for a long time. In the lock screen settings, we saw the same option and we were able to enable it immediately. This feature is not even on the latest software update, as the Oneplus 2 on which we saw this option runs a version of Oxygenos that has February 1st security patch.
This “new feature” is actually a replacement for the previous Google Assistant shortcut. This has no effect on its application, and we still wish it supported on other Android phones, but the value indicates that this feature is widely available on the OnePlus devices.
