Four unopened first-generation iPhones still in their original sealed boxes are up for auction this month. LCG auction will start bidding for these phones individually on June 30 and the bidding will end on July 16. These four main iPhone models are different from each other and therefore have different prices. The four 2007 iPhones are expected to cost between $115,000 and $21,000.
The most expensive iPhone among these iPhones is a model with 4 GB of memory, which was released in 2007 at a price of $499. There are currently two offers for this phone, the highest of which is $11,000. The second iPhone still in its original box is a 2007 model with 8GB of storage that cost $599 when it was released. This phone currently has only one offer for $5,000.
This 8GB iPhone has an interesting past. This phone was given to Phil Martino as a prize by Apple. He directed Steve Jobs during the unveiling of the iPhone at Macworld in 2007. An unlocked 4GB iPhone could fetch around $100,000 at auction this month. Apple’s four first-generation iPhones will cost a total of more than $200,000.
Apple’s third first-generation iPhone, still in its original box, has 16GB of storage and was made in 2008 before the iPhone 3G was released. In 2008, Apple released the 16GB iPhone for $499. Currently, there is an offer of 2500 dollars for this phone. The fourth iPhone is also a first generation 8GB model in its sealed box from Europe and is locked on carrier O2. There are currently no offers for it.
The auctioneer estimates that the winning bid for the 4GB model will be between $50,000 and $100,000. It will be in the range of $45,000 to $60,000 for the 8GB model, $20,000 to $30,000 for the 2008 16GB model, and $10,000 to $20,000 for the European 8GB iPhone. You may remember that earlier this year, an unlocked 8GB iPhone sold at auction for $63,356.40.
