Mark Gorman, a prominent Bloomberg analyst, said in his new report that the Apple Store has moved its point-of-sale system called Isaacs from the iPhone X to the iPhone 14, which will make Apple Store retail employees do things faster.
A former Apple Store employee has revealed that employees at the store have to change their iPhone X multiple times a day. This phone was first introduced in 2017 and was the first iPhone with Face ID, gesture navigation and an edge-to-edge display. One of the Twitter users also expressed his recent experience at the Apple Store opening as follows: “I was at the Apple Store on Friday and when I saw one of the employees of this store take out his phone to scan the code, I was shocked because I thought it was an iPhone X. It is, but it wasn’t like that.”
Of course, it is not yet clear whether Apple will miss a great opportunity to showcase its expensive flagships such as the iPhone 14 and 14 Pro Max in such a situation or not by switching to the iPhone 14. Anyway, this move by Apple is the right decision to upgrade the old phones of Apple Store employees to a newer model and it can speed up the process.
