Xiaomi 14 received 90W charging certification

Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the 14 series before the end of 2023, and now one of the phones in this series has received 3C certification. This certificate confirmed a phone with model number 23127PN0CC, which is apparently the standard version of Xiaomi 14 and supports 90W charging.

According to this confirmation, the Xiaomi 14 charger will have an output power of 20-5V at 6.1-4.5A, which is a maximum of 90W. Achieving such a speed requires the Xiaomi MDY-14-EC charger, but it is not yet clear whether Xiaomi will provide this adapter in the box.

In early 2022, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 13 with a charger, which, of course, was only available in international markets and not available to Chinese customers.

90W charging speed is nothing new for Xiaomi, but it will be a big upgrade for Xiaomi 14. The previous two versions had 67W wired charging, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro and 12 Pro supported 120W speeds.

We have to wait and see if Xiaomi increases the charging speed of the Pro 14 or not.
