According to Mehr reporter, Mehdi Khorasanchi visited Bushehr port on Tuesday morning and said: Bushehr port is of special importance due to its special location in this city and the direct reflection of its activities on the urban space.
Referring to the selection of Bushehr port as a pilot for smartening in the country, he said: One of the reasons for choosing this port for smartening is the variety of services of this port.
The Director of the National Sea-based Economy Program of the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge Foundation stated: The traffic department includes truck, vehicle, human and ship traffic, the operational heart of every port, and in this regard, the Bushehr port traffic system has been keyed and is being completed with the cooperation of the Scientific Vice.
He added: The next phase of development, which is related to “Nagin Port”, is being pursued in parallel with the support of the Scientific Vice-Chancellor, the cooperation of leading Chinese consultants in the field of smart port and a consortium of knowledge-based companies.
Khorasanchi emphasized: The full implementation of the first phase of smartness (traffic) will reach the final operation stage after one year.
