According to RCO News Agency, citing the Ministry of Science, in the decree of Hossein Simai Saraf, the Minister of Science, addressed to Ali Mahdinia, it is stated:
In view of your high level of commitment, specialization and valuable experiences and according to the proposal of the honorable vice president of research, you are hereby appointed as the “Head of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences”. It is expected from your Excellency, trusting in God Almighty, to supervise that research institute based on the laws, policies and approved programs and documents of the Islamic University.
It is hoped that by following Islamic teachings, scientific principles, the strategy of the national unity government, and by attracting the cooperation of academics and experts, you will perform the assigned duties in a competent manner. I wish you success and pride from the Almighty God.
Ali Mahdinia is a PhD student in chemistry and a member of the scientific faculty of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences with the rank of professor. Sea pollution, analytical chemistry and environment are Mahdinia’s research fields and in addition to publishing scientific and research articles and participating in book editing, he has managed to register 5 inventions.
From the executive records of Ali Mahdinia, we can mention the responsibility of research assistant and secretary of the executive board of recruitment, membership in the research council and director of the marine science research institute of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences.
In a separate letter, the Minister of Science appreciated the efforts and efforts of Morteza Tavakoli, the former head of the National Research Institute of Oceanography and Atmospheric Sciences, during his tenure.
