In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Dr. Samad Nejad Ebrahimi, referring to the oppressed testimony of a group of prominent university professors, described the incident as a direct attack on the country’s scientific thought, knowledge and identity, saying: “Blind and criminal assassinations, although they have caused a deep wound on the body of the academic community.” Today there are hundreds of young scientists in the country who are raised by these martyrs; A powerful, committed and ready -made generation who will continue their masters with a great dedication.

He added: “This terrorist act will not only be a barrier to scientific development, but we will make our academics more determined to follow the path of scientific and intellectual independence.” The enemies of this land must know that the science, faith and the spirit of resistance are rooted in the heart of this nation and are not extinguished with violence.

Director of the Ministry of Science’s Policy and Planning Office noted: Our martyrs’ professors were not the only university teachers; They were the keepers of national dignity, awakened generation trainers, and the firm pillars of the country’s scientific movement. I proudly declare that their students, in the country, are ready to keep the flag with the power.

Expressing the profound effect of the martyrdom of the oppressed family of these educated masters, he said: “The pain of losing these loved ones, especially when their noble families were martyred in this crime, is much more and more difficult.” I extend my condolences to the hot families of these great professors, to the colleagues of Shahid Beheshti University, and to the appreciative nation of Iran. I am sure that the memory of these loved ones will inspire future generations, and from this sadness, a new determination to build a brighter future will rise.
