NASA’s James Webmas Space Telescope, which has had a huge impact on the world of science and astronomy, has once again proved itself as an inspiration for a new collection of US posts (USPS).
According to RCO News Agency, Two new stamp released this month have symbolic images captured by the Web Telescope, one of which shows the spiral galaxy called the NGC 2. NASA explained about the image and pointed to its delicate spiral shape with the appearance of rough edges, adding that the galaxy is in the constellation of 5 million light -years.
The new stamp shows another web image of the central part of the IC 2 star cluster in infrared light. This cluster is located in the constellation for 5 light -years from the Earth. According to NASA, the sharp colors over the prevailing image are interdisciplinary materials that reflect the light of cluster stars, a phenomenon known as the “reflective nebulae”.
Nikki Fox, deputy director of the NASA Scientific Mission, said in a statement: “The James Webb Space Telescope turns art into art, as it continues to capture urgent images from the depths of space that is full of incredible scientific data for decades.”
Fox added: NASA’s science is literally everywhere, and it is still offered to the American people so that everyone can take over the solar system with these images. I am excited that not only my favorite image, the NGC ۲۰۱۲, is displayed this year, but both of us take our stamp on an incredible journey to cosmic history from one mailbox to another.
New stamps have been created in honor of the remarkable achievements of the James Webb Space Telescope, the world’s top space science observatory in the world. Showing the fascinating web images brings the wonders of the universe to people everywhere, making them tangible with pioneering astronomical discoveries. They also exhibit advanced technology and engineering behind the telescope and can even inspire tomorrow’s scientists by arousing curiosity and interest among young people.
The James Web Space Telescope was launched in space with the aim of observing the early cosmos, studying the formation and evolution of galaxies, and better understanding of the formation of stars and planets. Pictures of this telescope last appeared on stamps in year 6.
