About the books unveiled in this ceremony, he said: These books are the product of a joint work and the beginning of inter-departmental cooperation between university units.
The spokesman of the 14th government and a member of the Iranian Science Promotion Association said: This inter-departmental cooperation is very common in other countries, but in our country, we are used to introducing one person as a hero and we expect one person to do all the work. We have learned less to do activities with participation and cooperation and this is a good achievement.
He pointed out: We have various documents in the country, including Iran’s vision document 1404, but these documents mostly remain in the compilation stage and it was not checked whether the activities that should have been done have been done or not.
Mohajerani emphasized the indicator-oriented approach and said: We should get used to talking with indicators in scientific literature.
He added: Of course, it is not the case that the written documents are certain, but they create a perspective for us. Our criticism is not about document mapping, but about document implementation.
The spokesperson of the 14th government stated that strategic planning has three serious phases: writing, implementation and monitoring, and said: We have not implemented the written documents many times in the last 40 years. For this reason, the production of these works is commendable as a scientific achievement.
Emphasizing that the Society for the Promotion of Science should also promote scientific ethics, he said: A wise person is someone who sees the collective good and collective benefit and prefers it to personal benefit.
Dealing with science and knowledge can be the key to solving problems.
In this ceremony, while welcoming Dr. Fatemeh Mohajerani as one of the collaborators in the compilation of two books from the series of introduced books, Akram said: In this ceremony, there are four books: “Why and How to Map the Strategic Document”, “General Iranian Understanding of Science and Technology” , “ecosystem model for promoting science in Iran” and “strategic document for modernization and development and equipping of schools” will be unveiled.
While re-emphasizing the promotion of science and research in the society, he continued: We all have a duty to work hard to promote scientific ideas. Despite all the challenges that exist in the region, dealing with science and knowledge can be the key to solving crises.
The head of the Science Promotion Association pointed out: Currently, there is a gap between what is and what should be; But you should not be disappointed. This event is an excuse to turn these small seeds into fruitful seedlings so that we can see its effects in the country.
He added: All these works are the result of two years of research activities, which were published together by chance. The important issue in these works is their promotional nature, although they are specialized issues, but they are written in simple language because of their goals.
