How can I sponsor family immigration to Canada?
To sponsor a family member, you must show Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) that:
You are a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada aged 18 or older who is financially able to support the dependent for a number of years.

How do I sponsor my spouse or partner to immigrate to Canada?
You and your spouse can apply to immigrate to Canada as domestic or foreign applicants. Domestic candidates are sponsored in Canada.
Only Canadian citizens are allowed to live outside of Canada with their foreign spouses during the sponsorship process. Permanent residents who choose the overseas option must remain in Canada and their spouse must remain outside Canada while the application is being processed.
Your application process requires that you submit the two applications listed below at the same time:
Your support request for your spouse or partner
Your husband’s or partner’s permanent residence request
If you are a domestic applicant in Canada, you can also apply for a Spouse Independent Work Permit (SOWP) at the same time as your application.
How to sponsor my child to immigrate to Canada?
To support your child, you must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of 18 years of age and show that you can financially support your basic needs as well as those of your child.
If your child is your legal or biological child, is unmarried, and is under 22 years of age, he or she may be eligible for financial support. Children age 22 and older may be considered dependents if they have a physical or mental disability that prevents them from receiving financial support and have been dependent on their parents for financial support since before age 22.

How do I support my parents or grandparents to immigrate to Canada?
The PGP program allows parents and grandparents to be sponsored.
To be eligible as a sponsor, you must be at least 18 years old and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident during the sponsorship process. If you are a temporary resident or have a pending application for permanent residence, you cannot sponsor your parents or grandparents to immigrate through PGP.
You must also provide proof of income that shows you have the required minimum essential income (MNI).
The application procedure, including the MNI required for parental and grandparent support, may change regularly. IRCC issues application guidelines annually.
Grandparents and parents who plan to visit Canada may be eligible for a super visa, which allows them to stay in Canada for up to five years without needing to renew their status.
